CDC Mobile, a subsidiary of NASDAQ-listed CDC Corp., announced this week that Nokia will pre-install.CDC Mobile's software in Nokia phones.
"As per our agreement with Nokia, they will install our proprietary
software in some of the Nokia phones sold in China. Then mobile Subscribers can use the software to access CDC's services, including Mobile games, ring tones, news, weather forecasts and more," an official Surnamed Chen from CDC Corp. told Interfax.
The free software has been downloaded by millions of mobile subscribers,CDC Mobile said.
CDC Mobile, which provides mobile value-added services in China,
Recently announced that it is investing up to $100 million in its 3G
Content Partner Program. The company plans to seek partnerships with
Leading 3G content providers and aggregators in North Asia and Europe,
And create original content for the 3G marketplace.
