The LG U300 is a 3G clamshell phone that's one of the lightest 3G phones available. It's quite funky looking, available

in a choice of orange or chameleon, but inside it's a quite ordinary and bland-looking phone with a keypad that's frankly

not very nice to use.

The U300 has a similar spec to LG's other 3G phones - a rotating 1.3 megapixel camera, with video calling and a good

quality main screen. The external display shows the date and time, battery life, signal strength and caller ID when you

receive a call. The U300 has an excellent music player with full support for the supplied stereo Bluetooth headset. A

128 Mbyte memory card is supplied, so music storage is adequate, and the music player is better than average. Battery

life is better than average for a 3G phone and it can be charged via a USB cable. Overall it's a good phone that offers

good value for money, but is unremarkable and suffers from an unergonomic keypad.

Features of the LG U300 include:

* 3G video calling
* 1.3 megapixel camera with 2x digital zoom
* Video camera (MPEG4 format)
* Internal display: TFT, 262,000 colours, 176 x 220 pixels
* External display: STN, monochrome, 96 x 64 pixels
* Music player (MP3, AAC, Enhanced AAC+, AMR and WMA formats)
* 64-voice polyphonic MP3 & AAC ringtones
* Messaging: SMS, EMS, MMS, Email, MSN Messenger
* Java games
* Photo Caller ID
* WAP 2.0
* Memory: 8 Mbytes plus 128 Mbyte MicroSD memory card
* Connectivity: Bluetooth, USB
* Triband plus 3G
* Size: 96 x 50 x 22
* Weight: 93g
* Talktime: 135 minutes

Anyone tried this mobile TV service out? They got some good extreme sports video on the website: http://www.yamgo.com but it also works on your mobile phone apparently on any video enabled phone with WAP access.

The mobile TV version of Yamgo is very cool and works on my Nokia N73 on the 3 network.
I have an unlimited internet package - so its all free for me. I uploaded a few video via their online site:
http://www.yamgo.com and within 10 minutes I was watching them on my mobile phone.
They even have a few live TV channels. Check out my videos on their mobile site http://yamgo.mobi

TV on your WAP enabled mobile phone. Type http://yamgo.mobi in your mobile internet browser. They are looking for beta testers to help see if it works on your phone. Offered by extreme sports mobile TV company Yamgo (http://www.yamgo.tv). It's a free service (apart from your WAP phone charges). It works well on my Nokia N70, even the live channels work over a GPRS.
